How to Propose a Chain for Onboarding to Quicksilver Liquid Staking

While onboarding to Quicksilver is permissionless, the back-end integration between a native chain and the Quicksilver Zone often require technical work to ensure a seamless UX.

Therefore, the following process is followed when proposing a new chain for onboarding:

1. Post a thread for a signaling proposal on the Commonwealth forum: https://commonwealth.im/quicksilver-protocol/discussions

2. The thread stays open for a discussion period of 5 days; the development team will weigh-in with technical considerations during that time.

3. A proposal is posted on-chain after the thread’s discussion period has completed.
